Fran Strahan said "Ah yes, playing chess with the clouds. I see it, I see it, I see it! - but I love this, love where you've taken your Comment. It has a ring of the terrible truth about it in so much as if we did have the technology, I could just see them all arguing over it. Good Luck and Best Wishes."

Andy Bottomley Guest Editor replied saying "Well, you inspired this one after I read The Cloud. If I'm honest I much prefer the innocence of yours than the cynicism of mine but then maybe I'm just a grumpy old b#%%$r who aught to know better!.....best wishes...Andy"

Diane Dickson Guest Editor said ""desertification" love it. I have to say that if this were possible, it should be a huge blessing but as you have intimated with this clever piece it would probably be at least useless and at worst yet another cause for international strife and uproar. Thanks for this - Diane"

Andy Bottomley Guest Editor replied saying "My pleasure Diane. Story writing has been a bit barren of late and then all of a sudden two - I think i may write one about buses next! I may also have a new thread for storylines soon for after seven years of not being in employment I start a job in London in July - and there must surely be some ideas down there.....there are certainly some buses!!....Andy"

Adam West Guest Editor said "Whilst this might be sci-fi, the parallels drawn here with the reality that is decision making informed by utilitarian bio-ethics, are very much real, of course - I like your style Sir - many thanks for this bold piece of writing and good luck, AW."

Andy Bottomley Guest Editor replied saying "Hi Adam, it was interesting how this one came about. First read 'The Cloud', sprinkle in a dose of OU study on the environment, add a good slosh of off the wall 'what if?' thinking, stir and serve. Thanks for commenting....All the best....Andy"
