Wandering from the gently, swirling sea, her gown,
Clinging to her sensuous form, she lay on soft sand,
Her hair spreading over smooth rocks to dry
In the hot summer sun: which shone, above the deep blue sea.
Her dress, pure white, giving an awareness of innocence,
Which challenges, the power of the watcher’s eyes?
As a reflection of blue skies, shines on the deep blue sea
She rises, running her fingers through her hair,
Swinging her head gracefully, as her long golden hair cascades as in a waterfall.
Watching from the dunes hidden from her sight
He wonders at the beauty of her sensuous form, now partially hidden,
In pure white, giving an awareness of innocence,
Which challenges, the power of the watcher’s eyes?
She moves enticingly towards the dunes, towards him,
With a fleeting look, there is an element of surprise as
He takes her in his arms, the mother of his child.
