Loneliness catches me at moments when I least expect it;

Today I was reminded of you; taken back to a special place in time;

As I thought of you, a certain sort of sadness filled my heart,

Even though the memories we have are beautiful, and thinking back on them fills my heart with joy.

I miss your soul surrounding mine in complete love, and my eyes swell with tears because we are so far apart.

---

I miss you, very much...

Today I have thought about you so often; I have missed you, and cherished you;

I have dreamed countless dreams of us together, reaching for clouds and searching for stars,

Richard Ardus said "It's very straight of you to let us all know that your husband was doing a stretch. Thank you for re-working his lines to you and posting them here. As Adam says, it's not easy to express love. Your husband had no difficulty!"

Melford Maderazo Guest Editor said "Hi Jay! This was the most emotional poetry I've ever read. It sunk in me. I know nothing about your husband, but I'm pretty sure he is happy right now, especially that you've let people, like me, be glad with your stories. Wish you could just go to the past and meet him again, just like in the sci-fi stories I love to read."

Such is the frailty of life and all its ups and downs. Glad you appreciated it."
