The cloud was over Southern Scotland and Northern England.
It had been there for weeks, raining down on the land and
the people.
And the people said 'Go Away! We dont want you and your
rain any more!'
The cloud was sad. It called upon its friend, Wind.
'Wind, take me somewhere else. They dont want me any more.'
Wind pursed his lips and blew. There were 70mph gales in
South West Scotland and Cumbria. The cloud moved on, south
and east.
The cloud was over the Midlands and Norfolk. It stayed there
for weeks, raining down on this drought-ridden area.
But still, most of the people said 'Go Away! We dont want you
and your rain any more!'
Wind was summoned up again and he pursed his lips and blew.
The cloud headed south. There were 50mph gusts throughout
the Midlands.
The sad little cloud rained down over London, Hampshire,

The sad little cloud rained down over London, Hampshire,
Sussex and Kent. It hadn't been there too long at all
before the people yelled 'Go Away, we dont want your
rain here!'
The cloud asked its friend, Wind,to blow really hard and
take it far away from this ungrateful place with its
droughts and its hose pipe bans.
Wind pursed his lips and blew. There was a hurricane the
length of the English Channel affecting Dorset, Hampshire,
Sussex and Kent coasts.
The lonely little cloud wandered.
One day it found itself over a country called Africa. It
looked down and saw the arid land where crops wouldn't
grow and the people were starving. It saw children becoming
sick from having to drink old, contaminated water.
The cloud rained and rained and rained. The grateful people
cheered and were happy. The cloud stayed in Africa forever.
