When all your friends

are far away

and in the distance

they're bound to stay;

When you can't bare

anymore the truth,

just insert the coin in

Suicide Booth.

Your super-ego

abandons the hope

and you're holding to

the snapping rope,

When all your thoughts

are rotten to the root,

just insert the coin in

Suicide Booth.

Maybe the words

are hallow and

maybe the sentiment

is shallow,

but to make

a rough dream smooth,

just insert the coin in

Suicide Booth.

Now, knowing

what it takes

to dream like this

when awake,

end it all,

provoke the truth,

just insert the coin in

Suicide Booth.

Diane Dickson Guest Editor said "I would be really interested to know where this came from - with my poetry I often can't say it just is but did something spark this or was it just there? - Oh yes, I thought it was very good. - Diane"

Diane Dickson Guest Editor replied saying "It is interesting and wonderful that you can "use" poetry in this way. I always feel that poetry and indeed prose "uses" me insisting that there is something needing to be written. I am glad that it helped you to have a peaceful trip to Denmark and then we had the benefit of your poetry - thank you"

Djordje Stojanovic replied saying "Well, I try to channel anything that comes to my mind through my poetry... It just relieves me from the burden... Doesn't matter if it's sadness or happiness, it just flows through the song :) That time, when I wrote this poem, I was far from home, friends and family, and I thought it would be a wise idea to convert this feeling into a poem, and spend the rest of my trip to Denmark peacefully :)"

Adam West said "I don't read much poetry, but I thought this was excellent - both the notions and the delivery of them - it flowed with increasing rhythm."
