Jay Leffew said "Delightful. Isn't it amazing what we find deep in our adult minds? I think everyone has that little child in them, but some don't want to know about it, which is very sad."

Diane Dickson Guest Editor said "This is a sweet little story, I have to say that I was almost sorry it was in the competition because I think the limited word count did it a bit of a disservice. I would have loved to read much more about this little guy and what he was doing in the garden. - thanks - Diane"

Adam West said "This is on my shortlist. Crafted with an eye to a child's oftentimes secretive nature - the desire to possess or know about something a parent does not. As original as the genre allows, too. Lovely piece that I note fitted perfectly within the guidelines for a short story that Rosamunde Pilcher suggested in her blog...many thanks, Adam"
