Ten days out of the hospital for chest pain, I woke up from a dream that was incredibly real. It was exactly the way it was when I was little and lived at my grandparent’s farm. Janey heard her too and jumped up grinning, then she went running away to the little door in the shed where she lived.

Adam West said "All but made me cry. I just looked up and saw Alice's comment- ditto. Never felt entirely real, often close to surreal; always erring at the cusp of sentimentality but nevertheless shying clear of it. Somehow poetic and yet simultaneously grounded in plain language. Oh, I nearly forgot to state the obvious, first class writing - beautiful story...many thanks, Adam"
