They hadn’t long met. It wasn’t what you’d describe as love at first sight, it was more a getting to know you, friends become lovers, one thing leads to another kind of relationship. And it had.

Now they found themselves, each weekend, on his boat, a narrowboat. A boat that described the relationship that had evolved, a relaxed, going-with-the-flow, easy kind of a relationship. A relationship that asked no questions, that had no plans.

She loved their time on the boat together, to her it was a place where time ceased to exist, a place where they and time entwined, where nothing mattered except the here and the now.

She loved the way they lay on the bed together, listening to the lapping of water as it gently rocked them back and forth.

She loved the way he caressed the curves of her female form, the way he stroked her neck, and touched her.
