| Life Story: | I'm an aspiring playwright for stage, TV and Radio and when inspiration strikes short story writer living in Saddleworth with my wife and three children. I write because I wake every morning with ideas, connections and scenarios, most of them unbidden and unwanted and cannot sleep, eat, go to work or concentrate on anything else until I have commited my thoughts to paper. It is a curse and a burden, and the biggest pleasure in my life, family excepted. My life's ambition is to win an Oscar, a Tony, a Pulitzer, an Emmy and a BAFTA, though for the time being just being published and/or produced would be okay... I'll keep you updated, Vern. P.s (Written after that last bit), having reviewed my stories so far published here I have noticed a terrible lack of correctness at some points- words are missing, are misspelt, or have bad or conflicting grammar. Please accept my apologies; I must do better, but I am aware of it, so there. Feel free to be as sarcastic as possible in your comments... |
