| Life Story: | Toby is an experienced actor, writer and award winning stand-up comedian. His versatile voice and gift for accents has allowed him to straddle a number of genres. As an actor he has appeared on television in Phoenix Nights, Coronation Street, A & E, The Forsyte Saga, and Shameless. Professional theatre roles include a variety of parts requiring different dialects. He has been a stalwart of the national comedy circuit for over a decade and regularly parades his vocal skills as part of The Comedy StoreÂ’s cult character sketch team The Unbroadcastable Radio Show. Toby has recently been nominated for a Sony Award for his Doctor Who show which was playing in The West End. Previous voice over credits include Radio adverts and idents, corporate, narration and character work, museum installations, CD-ROMs, poetry readings, animation and multi media. As a character actor, Toby has played a variety of roles utilising a range of accents, ages and styles in both straight drama and comedy (including neutral credit reading) for Radio 4. |
