| Life Story: | Michelle Brafman is an award-winning filmmaker and writer. Her fiction has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and Best New American Voices 2009. She is also a past winner of the F. Scott Fitzgerald Short Story prize and the Lilith Magazine Fiction award. Her stories have been accepted for publication by Gargoyle, The Minnesota Review, Bellevue Literary Review, The Berkeley Fiction Review, The Los Angeles Review, Fifth Wednesday Journal, and numerous other journals and anthologies. She teaches creative writing at The George Washington University and lives in Glen Echo, Maryland with her husband and two children. Both “You’re Next” and “Minocqua Bats” appear in her novel in stories entitled Shhh. |
