This is the first in a series aimed primarily at children aged 10-13, but hopefully will be enjoyed by anyone who likes a bit of escapism and a fast-paced story. Favourite Authors: Children: Garth Nix, Michelle Paver, Philip Pullman, Susan Cooper Adult: Ian McEwan, Alexander McCall Smith and Bernard Cornwall (for a bit of medieval escapism!)
Favourite Stories: Too difficult to narrow down, but I found myself marking passages in 'Shantaram' by Gregory David Roberts
