Another Day at School: Shortbread Light Bite

As children all over the country are getting ready for going back to school, it seemed only apt for today's Light Bite to be from a Junior Shortbreader!

Another day at school, walking through the front gate,

Another day at school, I must try not to be late,

Another day at school, walking through the door,

Another day at school, I CAN'T TAKE IT ANY MORE!!!

Homework, maths and science, and all those other things.

They really get me angry and the teachers act as if they're kings!

Another day at school, sitting at my boring desk,

Another day at school, boy I really need a rest,

Another day at school, I want to go to bed!

Another day at school, I need to rest my head!!!

Oh I hate it, I HATE it! Why can't the adults see,

That such an awful place is no good for a child like me?

It's making me unhealthy, it's making me sad,

And worst of all it's so boring! It really is bad!

Another day at school, the bell is just about to ring!

Another day at school, that screeching sudden BRRRIIINNNG!!!

Another day school is over hip hip hooray!

Too bad I must come back tomorrow for another boring day.
