| Life Story: | I was raised in the country, one of six children. My father worked the land as a blueberry farmer of hundreds of acres. Dad expressed his love through the care of his family and his lifelong habit of praying for us EVERY day by name wherever we were. My mother was a happy stay at home mom. She said more than once when we were growing up that she would have loved to have had a dozen children, which translated to us that we were loved and wanted. Words to grow and thrive on. I have worked most of my adult life in childcare, working as a live-in Nanny in several Canadian cities and a short part-time stint in the cafe' of my dreams. I still take care of children and am part way through an online college course for Library Information Technology. I love to get lost in words, the way they roll through my mind and off my fingers, swirling sight, scent and sound, evoking memories and emotions. |
