| Life Story: | David Appleby is the author of Moon Alley, a novel written in the form of connected stories and cited by an amazon.com 'top 10 reviewer' as “a solidly unique voice -- highly recommended,” and also praised by Book View Ireland for its “pleasing symmetry in structure…and convincingly drawn picture of a once-thriving area.” The author, a recipient of a PEW Fellowship, and a graduate of Temple University has recently published a new collection of short stories, 'Love Sketches.'
