| Life Story: | Born at a very early age in Bristol of Scottish parents, I spent my early years living in a country Pub called "The Catash Inn" in North Cadbury, Somerset. This was a quiet village and my brother and I ran wild and free. I spent my school years in various schools and my working years in various establishments, finally settling at the University of Bristol as their Examinations Officer for 21 years. I took early retirement in 2002 and moved to Braunton on the North Devon coast of England with my Husband, Don, where he could realise his life-time ambition of becoming a surf-bum and I could try my hand at putting pen to paper. Happily the love of surfing was also tempered with the love of motorcycling and the purchase of a Harley-Davidson Electra Glide ultra classic has enabled us to tour around the UK and Europe at our leisure. My retirement has not been in vane and happily I have had a number of travel articles published. |
