| Life Story: | I've been in education since I was about five - and that's a long, long time ago! Tried to "retire" early and gracefully some three years ago, but I guess it's a hard habit to kick... so here I am, back in the classroom one day a week( Primary French and Art), tutoring for another couple of days (Literacy and Maths) and still loving it! Gives me chance to potter amongst the flowers (my own garden and several Floristry courses), walk a lot - and oh, yes - to do some writing too! Have had some children's reading books published previously: Sam's Football Stories and The Stewie Scraps Adventures (Brilliant Publications) and have worked for Collins Educational. Am hoping that I can do some more work for reluctant readers, or get my children's novel (Jazz) published, or win the odd writing competition. Am detrermined not to be one of those folks who says: "Don't know how I ever had time to go to work." But, life is pretty hectic... |
