Richard Ardus said "Hi man, 'read your comment about being edited! Think yourself lucky! I was expecting some sort of contact with an editor but my competition entry was up after about two days. Looking again I see a spelling error and a cock-up with idiom, which an editor should have picked up on. There are a load of entries which have been 'Available soon' for a few weeks - any idea if the length of time it takes a submission to appear is a reflection of its quality? Did you have any contact with shortbread? I think your stuff is way ahead of most stories on this site - keep it up! R."

Calder Burrows replied saying "Sure man, and thanks a lot. Goldberg - Writing Down the Bones is good but if you want something a little heavier then James Wood - How Fiction Works. They're both first year Creative Writing reading list type books - so enjoy!"
