Download Stories as Text

To download short stories as TXT files you must be logged in as a member of Shortbread. Navigate to the story you wish to download as TXT format, click on the Download button, then click on the TXT logo or TXT text. Every computer will handle downloads differently but usually this file will appear on your Downloads or Desktop, or may even open up to view in a Text editor or Word immediately. Alternatively you can right click on the logo and Save Target As to set the download location manually.
