Hello Heidi-Jo. It can be a quandry. I have written five novels (unpublished to date) and have submitted a couple of excerpts/short stories to Shortbread and marked them ‘From a novel by the author’ and the editors used the appropriate phrase for it, so something similar could surely bring your blog work in with a tag and our Editors would take it from there…..They are alert and keep us on the straight and narrow. Links help too. I sent a shortbread link in e mail to many friends and find them enjoying the reading.

Best thing is to ask Fiona. I have had this conundrum myslef but now readers don’t have to join to read the stories I simply mention the work on my blog and put a link up and it is surprising how many people click through and the added advantage is that they are exposed to more of your work and also of course wonderful Shortbread
Thanks for delving into Shortbread! If you've enjoyed reading the short stories and listening to the audio short stories available at Shortbread, you might like to read the story behind Shortbread, on the Press page. You might also consider passing on your valuable thoughts via our Feedback form, or contacting our editor.
