The City on the Silvery Tay
Dundee is bidding to be the UK City of Culture in 2017, a competition run by the UK government which uses culture and creativity to transform communities. ShortbreadStories would like to show how Dundee can inspire a global community of writers, so we're launching the competition 'The City on the Silvery Tay'. There are only two criteria for this competition: it must be set in Dundee and it must be 2500 words or less. Submit your entries by the 22nd of May. The winning story will be selected from the top three entries by a special guest judge. Public voting to decide the top three stories will run from the 22nd to the 29th of May and the winner will be included in the Friday Story.
How does this work?
