Adam West replied saying "I think I will give the film a miss given the mixed reviews, Anne - I would recommend the book though - preferably read in just a couple of sittings - I constantly aspire to write better and Cormac MaCarthy's prize winning novel is a good example of the sort of writing that inspires me - it reminded me in many ways of Alan Warner's early novels - in particular, Morvern Callar and These Demented Lands and less so, The Man Who Walks - loved your story - it deserves more votes - best wishes, Adam."

Anna Ryan Thomas replied saying "Actually, I do know it after checking, well not the book but the film...couldn't watch it after the part where they discover all the live 'food' in the cellar! Glad my story wasn't as harrowing as that!"
