replied saying "I think I will give the film a miss given the mixed reviews, Anne - I would recommend the book though - preferably read in just a couple of sittings - I constantly aspire to write better and Cormac MaCarthy's prize winning novel is a good example of the sort of writing that inspires me - it reminded me in many ways of Alan Warner's early novels - in particular, Morvern Callar and These Demented Lands and less so, The Man Who Walks - loved your story - it deserves more votes - best wishes, Adam." 1 year ago
